Picture Gallery Two - Tanzania - Chome Village
As we made that last turn a a long green valley suddenly opens up. A little further we are surrounded by the wild cheering and singing of all 4000 villagers. The excitement, love and joy on their faces are always overwhelming to me. I promise you they will steal your heart and give it back bigger. Travelers like you have come with us over the years. We have planted 500 fruit trees at one of the schools that are now 20 feet tall and bearing fruit. One year we lugged in 100 panes of plexi-glass to replace 100 broken windows at their small infirmary and let in wasps that made nests over the delivery table. Another time we carried in gallons of a special green chalkboard paint and made the chalkboards readable again. What can you do? Come with us and share your self, your gifts, your joy. It will be returned a thousand fold. There is so much more to do. They need school books, pens and paper, a science lab for their high school. Medical supplies for the hospital, a filtration system for their water. New trees to replace the ones cut down every day for cooking and boiling water.

Children make their own drums. This means cutting the tree and skinning the animal.
